Peter J. Nagle CFP®, M.A.R.
Managing Partner

Peter began his career in the financial services industry in 1980 working with Paul Revere, a large disability insurance carrier. He soon realized he wanted to be in business for himself and joined a small financial services firm in Fairfield, Connecticut. Within two years he assumed control of the firm and for the next 30 years built it into a successful independant firm operating in Fairfield and Milford. In 2011 Peter took on Vince Esposito as his partner and became Spruce Hill Capital, LLC and relocated to Guilford.

Peter is a Certified Financial Planner ® Professional and taught financial planning and investment classes for many years in Milford and Fairfield. Peter holds a BA in Liberal Arts and graduated cum laude from Yale Divinity School with a Master’s degree in Religion in 1996.

Peter believes giving back is very important. He has volunteered on many local boards and community projects. Since 2001 his focus has been a peace ministry for the Middle East. Having followed the conflict for many years, Peter traveled to Israel for the first time in 2002 with a good friend and Rabbi. Since then he has returned to the region 15 times, and founded the organization, Friends of Bethlehem, which supports Israelis and Palestinian orgs that work for peace and reconciliation. Peter has produced a short documentary on the Bethlehem area and also leads trips and discussions on the topic.

Peter and his wife, Joy, live in Guilford and have four grown daughters between them. An avid cycler, he is aiming to do his first century ride (100 miles) next season. In his leisure time he also enjoys theatre, art, films, traveling, spending time with his grandchildren and watching the NY Yankees with Joy, who is a huge fan.

Vincent M. Esposito AIF® WMS

Partner

Vincent has been an independent financial professional for more than 17 years. Although his schooling and years of service have made him a thought leader in his field, his work ethic actually formed much earlier in life.

At the age of 12 he began helping out at his family’s deli. The time he spent there, putting in the hours and the effort and watching his dad interact with customers is what built the foundation of his work ethic. He learned that by working hard and by taking care of your customers, everyone benefits.

Vincent took these lessons with him when he left the family business to study finance at college. He then spent several years with a large investment firm before forming his own financial firm in 1999.  And more recently has joined forces with Peter J. Nagle and his team to form Spruce Hill Capital, LLC.

Vincent serves as committee chairman for a group of Connecticut advisors that meets monthly to discuss market trends and share best practices. He also created Advisor Connect, a nationwide group of advisors that participate in ongoing online discussions about how best to navigate the ever-changing financial climate.

His mission: Inspire clients to make smart financial decisions that will have a positive impact on their family’s quality of life for generations.
